I think most people, like myself, feel they can style their home fairly successfully, but when you see an interior designer in action, you realise there is a reason why this is a profession and one worth investing in if you want those rooms to be stunning.
Having captured several rooms created by the very humble and immensely talented Alison Eley, I always come away thinking, ‘Wow, lucky people who get to live, eat, or sleep in those rooms’. Every little corner, switch and trim is created with love. The lifestyle is considered and I think the children’s bedrooms are my favourite. I mean, what little boy wouldn’t want a superhero bedroom with his own climbing wall – genius.
There is a passion that drives Once Upon A Room and what more could you want in your home than passion and love. The images say it all for me, so take a peek.
The brand is launching to a wider audience this year, so keep an eye out for the new packages and options that will be available that mean you can even select to simply have plans created, be given source lists, but be able to create the room yourself.
