Creating a White Wedding

Everyone has heard of the term White Wedding and despite the generic meaning to it these days, Abby & Owen wanted their wedding to truly be a White Wedding. I know there are many out there that will feel that there needs to be some colour introduced, because white on white is not the norm, but I love the fact that Abby stuck to her instinct. Here is how they created a White Wedding that was not bland.

White Wedding Dress
Sounds obvious, but not every bride has a white dress these days.

White Bridesmaid Dresses
Flower girls are often in white dresses and so why not the older bridesmaids and especially when the dresses are as gorgeous as these. The subtle hint of colour to match the flowers with the added ribbon works beautifully.

Wedding Groomswear
I love the white on white here with the Groom’s bow tie and like the subtle difference created for the best man with the green.

White Wedding Flowers
The fact these are classic flowers means they work so well in white and the greenery shows through enough to add that subtle hint of colour.

Textures
The lace and sparkles brings the white to life.

White Wedding Cake
The sculptured flowers adds to the classic beauty of this cake.

Wedding Decorations & Details
Having the white Love letters lights is a prop dream for every photographer and they looked perfect in the entrance of Prestwold Hall. Add to this, a wedding card post box, guest book, table decorations and Team Bride T-Shirts, then who needs colour.
